1. On the top right of your gmail account on your desktop, you have a button that looks like the below:
2. Click the google button then click "Manage your Google Account", this will open a new page. On the left side of the newly opened page you will see this:
3. Click "Security"
4. Scroll down to "2-step verification", click it to "on" and follow the steps.
